I chose Mountain Dew for this personal project.
Celebrate what makes you, YOU! It is no secret that Mountain Dew's target audience is primarily 18-year-old males, so I took the opportunity to capture female individuality by expressing it through fast-paced, colorful, and exciting energy.
Idea Exploration
I made three styleframes to make sure that my vision was realized. Not to mention, this is personally my favorite concept. Unfortunately, I did not add much female representation aside from the color pink within my styleframes, but I managed to fix this issue while working on the animatic.
Animation Process

I created this animatic with the intention of working out the timing and how the other frames will look aside from the initial styleframes.
1st Pass
I had to block out the animation in order to figure out how the character and the explosion should animate. As seen from the animatic, Four items weren't enough, so I had to brainstorm what other female key items should appear during the explosion cloud scene.
